Terms & Conditions

To ensure the health and safety of all, the Zen Kidz sickness policy runs in line with the Fife schools. If your child is unwell/off school or nursery with an illness, please refrain from bringing them to a class. If your child has been unwell with sickness, diarrhoea or another virus then you agree they must be 48 hours clear of symptoms in order to return to Zen Kidz.

At Zen Kidz classes we use a range of resources. We take all possible precautions to reduce risk and provide safe, healthy and enjoyable experiences for everyone. By agreeing to the terms and conditions you acknowledge that risks from participation in class activities exist and that you have allowed yourself and/or your child to attend the class knowing these risks and their possible consequences. You will complete the registration questions accurately and honestly and notify Zen Kidz of any conditions that could impact participation. You accept full responsibility for your own actions and that of your child while participating in a Zen Kidz class. You agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known and unknown, which you and/or your child might incur as a result of participating in Zen Kidz classes. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in classes, you knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim you may have against the instructor, the owner, or the leaseholder of the building for injuries or damages that you or your child may sustain as a result of participating in classes or workshops held at Zen Kidz studio. 

You agree to come in to the studio to collect your child at the end of classes if they are attending a Zen Calm class unless Zen Kidz have been notified in writing of an alternative arrangement.

In order to foster and maintain the ethos of Zen Kidz everyone involved (including but not limited to parents, carers, children, young people, instructors, volunteers) needs to work together to create a supportive environment. Outlined below is the expectations that you agree to . Please share these with your child -

Children or young people attending Zen Kidz - 

·        will be friendly and supportive to others.

·        keep themselves safe by following adult instructions.

·        report inappropriate behaviour or risky situations to an adult.

·        respect the rules of the class.

·        behave and listen to the instructor.

·        take care of Zen Kidz equipment and property.

·        not use inappropriate language.

·        not bully anyone or pressure them to do things they do not want to.

·        in no way undermine, put down or belittle others.

·        not use mobile phones during classes.

Caregivers –

·        will follow the rules of the studio.

·        will treat all other parents, children and young people and staff with respect and be treated with respect.

·        will take care of Zen Kidz equipment and property.

·        must not use inappropriate language.

·        will report inappropriate behaviour or risky situations to the supervising adult.

·        Must adhere to drop off and collection rules.

Everyone involved with Zen Kidz including (but not limited to) instructors, volunteers, students, children, young people, parents/carers and visitors will treat each other appropriately and with respect. Breaching these terms and conditions may result and result in a family’s contract with Zen Kidz terminated. No refund will be given. Full details can be found in the Positive relationships policy.
